A personal tool by Daniel Ropot
From a finished song to reviewed music videos.
Music Shorts runs on its owner's computer. It prepares full-song videos and short excerpts from the owner's supplied audio, artwork and lyrics, then supports review and approved delivery to the owner's YouTube channel.
This website provides application and privacy information. It does not host the application, accept media, or provide public accounts or access to the owner's projects.
What the application does
- Aligns supplied lyrics, proposes excerpts and renders videos locally.
- Lets the owner preview videos and review titles, descriptions, audience settings, synthetic-content disclosures and release plans before approving an upload.
- Uses YouTube API Services for approved uploads and scheduling, and for approved full-video thumbnails, captions, playlist placement and comments.
- Reads the connected channel's video inventory and aggregate performance, keeping a local history for the owner's review.
The owner controls the Google connection and upload approvals. Automatic follow-up tasks only complete previously approved actions. The application is not a public service and has no customer subscriptions.
Review access
Music Shorts is a single-user local application. Reviewers can contact the owner to arrange a demonstration. This website does not provide a live application login.
Terms of use
Music Shorts is maintained by Daniel Ropot for personal use. By using the application's YouTube features, the user agrees to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Use of Google data is described in the Music Shorts privacy policy and the Google Privacy Policy.
The user must have the necessary rights to supplied media and must review and approve each upload, including its visibility, audience and synthetic-content disclosures. YouTube's platform restrictions apply. This site does not claim that Google has verified or approved the application.
